For the third time in its history, St. Petersburg has hosted the International Fontanka Stand Up Festival on the banks of the Fontanka with a few hundred enthusiasts.
It’s always fun to see stand up paddle enthusiasts enjoying themselves… more so in Russia’s culture capital. The International Fontanka Stand Up Festival took place on 12th August, with over 500 participants from Russia, Finland, Cyprus and Poland. They played the game in fancy dress on an 8-kilometre course along the Moika and the Fontanka rivers, including the Griboedov and Kriukov canals.
